In Loving Memory ~

It is with sadness that we announce the passing Audrey Gail Clark, nee Loney on February 22nd, 2024 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Born June 11th, 1937 in Kemnay, Manitoba to Lester and Evalyn Loney. She was raised in Brandon, Manitoba.

Audrey married Herbert Clark in Brandon, Manitoba in 1955. Her first son Kevin was born shortly after. The family moved to Virden in 1959. It was in Virden that their second and third sons, Dean and Paul were born.

In 1963 they relocated to Stettler, Alberta. After a few years there they moved to Calgary in 1966. After many great years in Calgary, they moved to Minneapolis in 1977 as Herb worked for Gas Supply. They moved back to Calgary in 1980.

Thereafter, they Wintered in Arizona and summered in Alberta. First in Phoenix, they later moved to Gold Canyon, Arizona in late 90's after purchasing Gold Canyon Golf Resort. Back in Alberta, they moved from Calgary to Lacombe in 1990 to be with their sons on the family farm/ranch.

Audrey was full of energy and charisma. She made tremendous friendships everywhere she lived. She was very close to all her Grandchildren. She never missed a special event. Although her husband Herb took most of the attention for their business success, Audrey was a great supporter of her husband, wearing many roles in his companies, including bookkeeper and entertainer!

It was often said that Audrey's charm led to many of the lasting business relationship Herb would keep. Audrey enjoyed gardening, traveling and antiquing. She was a proud member of Central Alberta's "Red Hat Ladies".
